19th Century Motorists "Member" Club Specifically for drivers who drove motor vehicles on the UK roads prior to the Emancipation Day Run in 1900. This is the later style of badge. The Circle of 19th Century Motorists was founded in November 1927 and at one time its membership reached 220. The membership of the Circle of 19th Century Motorists was restricted to those "who owned or drove a motor vehicle prior to the conclusion of the Thousand Miles Trial of the Automobile Club of Great Britain and Ireland." in 1900. The last recorded reunion was held in 1943. It was the forerunner of the London to Brighton car run.
