Worcestershire Car Badge

Worcestershire. Manufactured in Resin and having a Stainless backing plate, by Renamel of London from the early 60’s until 1974 when the County Boundaries of England were changed. The shield shows a tree bearing black pears. Black pears appear in the arms of the City of Worcester, and as such have long been considered a county badge, thought to mark the visit of Queen Elizabeth I when a Black Pear tree was planted in the City of worcester. The tree is seen on a green mound with wavy blue and white bars underneath representing the River Severn. The Crest on top of the shield shows a mural crown.
