Surrey Gliding Club Manufactured Pre-War 1930’s Based at Redhill Aerodrome Surrey. The Gliding Club was part of or ran alongside the Redhill Flying Club. First mention of Gliding comes in 1947, when it is said to be resumed. The style and quality indicates that the badge was produced Pre-War as there were restrictions on Post War enamelling.
