Wembley Speedway Supporters Club Car Badge

Wembley Speedway Supporters Club 75 mm (3") diameter Metal and painted. There was a Wembley Speedway Sports Motor Club in existence from 1933 until 1951. In 1952 there appears to have been a name change to Wembley Speedway Supporters Motor Cycle Club, both being Affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) South Midland Centre. This badge looks to be from the same club and there could have been a recording error on behalf of the ACU. This badge could come from the 50's. Speedway took place at Wembley from 1929 until 1971 The metal used looks to be a heavy alloy similar to the Odsal Speedway badge
