Middlesborough & District Motor Club Affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (A.C.U.) Yorkshire Centre 1927-50 Changing to East Yorkshire Centre following the ACU Centre changes, 1951-89 when my records go up to. Known to be affiliated to the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) from 1956 until 1976 but my records are far from complete. There was a Middlesborough & District Motor Cycle Club affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (A.C.U.) Yorkshire Centre 1923-26 which is more than likely the beginnings of this Club. No information found prior to 127 but badge indicates that it was founded in 1905
