Licensed Trade Automobile Club This Club as the images indicate was the National Club of the Licensed trade. In the early day's this was almost exclusively the domain of the Publican, but as local shops and wine bars emerged. and the larger multiple retailers grew in strength so the local outdoor which every Pub had began to disappear. Publicans are a breed of their own and shop keepers they were not. Feeling very much that they were being sidelined, a number decided to set up their own trade association. This would have no other reason that to stick a finger up to the established L.T.A.C. This would become known as the Doghouse Club and International Doghouse Club.
