Fake RAC Car Badge 1922 -1923 This is one of a series manufactured in the late 30's Central RAC logo was introduced in 1936 but an idiot added a Spanish Crown, or was it supposed to be Spanish with a UK RAC. Very poor quality, they appear to have been stamped out of a thin sheet of brass type alloy. Initially stamped with the printed detail and secondly stamped to give raised areas and cut in round shape. Some of the final cutting is of such a poor quality that it produced a rough edge. Some as in this case were not even cut centrally.
