The field can be sub divided into "Ordinaries" and "Sub Ordinaries" Sorry, my Cross and Saltire look a bit weak. Best example of a sub ordinary is the change from the "Per saltire" to the "Gyronny" In the case of the chevron facing up and not down, it becomes "Chevron reversed"
