Changed to British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1954, and then in 1970 to "British Commonwealth Games". Changed once again in 1978 to the "Commonwealth Games" The 6th Games were held in Cardiff from 18 – 26 July 1958 with a total of 1122 Competitors.
