RAC Associate Badges 1954-73 Elizabethan Car Badge

RAC Associate Badges 1954-73 Elizabethan type 1 plastic Car Badge. Produced as a radiator badge but could be supplied with a fitting to turn it into a bar type fitting. 105 mm (4.2") tall, manufactured by H B Sale Ltd Birmingham. Anodised backing had lost the blue colouring and the Crown had lost it's bulk. Had "The Property of the R.A.C." on the reverse but not numbered. Also available with side fixing lugs. Phased out in early 1960's
