Banbury Auto Club Car Badge

86 mm ( 3.4" ) Diameter. Manufactured in alloy and painted. Affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (A.C.U.) South Midland Centre 1947-52 On the Reverse is a Small sticker with the following inscription "Retrieved from Pamela David Feb 26th 86, 1 of 19" These stickers were put on by an American Collector called Bell Moran (Now deceased) Pamela David Enamels were (and still are) the leading restorers of badges and "Bell" handed over most of the badges he collected in the UK for Pamela David to restore, this was probably one of the badges purchased at Beaulieu Auto Jumble the previous September where Pamela David have a stand.
