RAC Associate Badges 1946-53 Type 2 Car badge

RAC Associate Badge 1946-53 Type 2 Badges with blue anodised aluminium backings were quickly introduced, available in two qualities, the better quality returned to the early Type 1 thickness of 4 mm and can be distinguished by the lower fixing holes as in the first type. The number was now stamped onto the backing plate. Same size and lettering as previous, but total thickness increased with the backing plate. Manufactured by H B Sale in Birmingham.
