Royal Automobile Club 1939 - 1960 "Flat" Full members Badge 106 mm (4.55") tall. Introduced in 1939 as the first single sided Full Members badge designed for fitting to Modern Radiator grills. Has four fixing studs on the reverse enabling the bracket which was supplied with the badge to be vertical or horizontal fitting. Being of hollow construction, these are often found with minor dents. Nearly three and a half thousand being issued before being withdrawn in 1960 (possibly because of an over stocking position in 1954).
