Antelope Motor Cycle Club Coventry Car Badge Manufactured in alloy with painted Affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (A.C.U.) Midland Centre 1947-89 when my records go up to, as the Antelope Motor Cycle Club. Info from their web site http://www.antelope-mcc.com/" Formed in 1944 by members of the Signals Platoon of the local Home Guard who wanted to continue riding motor cycles after the Home Guard was dis-banded. The platoon was part of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment so the new club adopted the Regiment's badge and mascot as its own
