Crewe & South Cheshire Motor Cycle Club lapel badge 32 mm wide Enameled and finished in Gilt Made by Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham. Affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (A.C.U.) Central Centre 1926 to 36. Known to be affiliated to the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) from 1956 until 1968 but my records are far from complete. If you log onto www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/crewe-motor-club.htm you will see the origional club could have been called the Crewe & South Cheshire M.C. & C.C. With very few exceptions "Car Club" was not in use until the 70's, so I would title the name as Crewe & South Cheshire Motor Cycle & Cycle Club.
