Crewe & South Cheshire Motor Club Manufactured in Alloy 101 mm (4") diameter. Affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (A.C.U.) Central Centre 1947 to 89 when my records go up to. Known to be affiliated to the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) from 1956 until 1968 but my records are far from complete. Looks to be typical of alloy badges produced in the 30's and from the late 40's. If you log onto www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/crewe-motor-club.htm you will see a similar badge, note the wording "Motor Club" and "1938" on the notepad indicating a change in name took place in 1938 of thereabouts.
