Norfolk Car Badge

Norfolk. Manufactured in Resin and having a Stainless backing plate, by Renamel of London from the early 60’s until 1974 when the County Boundaries of England were changed. Upper part of the shield (cheif) shows a Lion from the England shield with two ostrich plumes, topped with a Coronet, which has strong connections with the Prince of Wales and the Royal residence at Sandringham. The lower part is from the arms of Ralph de Gael or Guader, first Earl of Norfolk c 1069.
